One Systems Speakers Installed in Austrian Sports and Leisure Centre
Nashville, Tennessee – Elektro Schartner of Großarl, Austria recently installed One Systems'
208CIM speakers in Großarl's newly-constructed sports and leisure centre. The system's
installation included design and hanging of a cluster of speakers in the recently constructed
soccer field, which serve as the main loudspeakers for announcements and music playback for
games and other events.
Großarl's leisure centre is already a popular local and tourist attraction, with a variety of
entertainment for both young and old. Located in Großarl, Austria, 70 km (42 miles) from
Salzburg at the base of the Austrian Alps, this year-round centre includes activities such as: beach volleyball, tennis, miniature golf, a soccer field, an adventure pool and the Children's
Adventure Land. Children's Adventure Land, a special highlight of the newly-built centre,
includes a mini farm, a petting zoo, mountain lakes and dams, go-cart tracks, climbing walls and
underground tunnels.
Once the soccer field, located adjacent to the adventure pool was complete, investors realized
that permanent, cost-effective and reliable speakers were needed for music playback and
announcements during games and other events. Kleinhappl Electronic GmbH from Salzburg
(Austria) and project manager Matthias Hartl were awarded the contract to design the new
system. They chose One Systems speakers for this particular project based on many factors,
including successful past experiences.
Hartl reflects, "When we were asked to choose a speaker for this particular installation our
parameters included price, sound quality, weather proofing and reliability. One Systems met all
the requirements, and having worked with them in the past, we have yet to be disappointed.
Due to unpredictable weather and various precipitation, One Systems has proven to be the best
choice with their high vocal intelligibility, excellent sound quality and weatherproof design, not to
mention their high-value price."
For the installation, Kleinhappl and Hartl worked closely with their local partner Elektro
Schartner to design a system, which would avoid sonic reflections and feedback between the
wireless microphone system and the speakers. To achieve this, they used 208CIM's pole-mounted as a cluster onto an existing lighting structure in order to produce effective coverage
with the fewest problems. "The customer trusted our recommendation, and after installation the
client expressed their pleasure with the price, appearance and performance of One Systems
speakers," states Hartl.
