Alabama’s Premiere Full Service Catering & Event Facility Installs One Systems Speakers
Nashville, Tennessee, August 2009 - Mathews Manor, a full service catering and event facility in Springville, AL has recently selected One Systems Direct Weather loudspeakers for a new installation. Mathews Manor is known for their desirable indoor/outdoor venues and full service catering for all entertainment events, large and small. The Manor installed the 212-CIM in their newest and largest outdoor area, Micah’s Meadow. This compact, dual 12 inch system is particularly suited for high level announcements and general vocal reproduction in both indoor and outdoor applications. The 212-CIM’s lightweight co-polymer enclose is optimized to withstand high UV exposure and long life in harsh environments.
Mathews Manor has been in business since 2000 and holds over 110 wedding, reception and corporate events every year. Micah’s Meadow, their newest outdoor venue and largest undertaking ever, includes a walking bridge and a stage with capacity for 1,000 - 2,000 people. “We really needed a great sounding speaker that could fill up the entire meadow and withstand the elements every day,” says manager Trey Mathews. “Because of the sparse placement of man-made structures in the meadow, the speaker was mounted to a large Oak tree for the greatest saturation and required some creative engineering.” The M10 Forged Shoulder Eye Bolt accessories were used for rigging, while wire rope and a garden hose were included to protect the tree.
